Safety Awards
Awards are presented to each Group Organisation that successfully achieves an entire calendar year without suffering a recordable injury (OCIMF defined lost time, restricted work or medical treatment) to any group personnel (TRIR = 0).
This equally applies to personnel of any customer or any contractor under the jurisdiction of BOURBON.
In 2010, 5 affiliate companies have been awarded in recognition of their focus on preventing personal injuries:
- Bourbon Offshore Maritima (Brazil) – 1,310,000 man-hours.
- Bourbon Offshore MMI – 354,000
- Les Abeilles (France) – 292,000
- Bourbon Offshore Ukraine – 150,000
- Bourbon Offshore Gaia (Subsea Services) – 72,500
In addition to this international award program, several group organizations operate individual employee award schemes to recognise personnel that contribute to collective safety by individual performance or through the provision of particular improvement suggestions for best practice and incident prevention.
It is anticipated that further consolidation of personal awards and other benefits related to safe and efficient operations will progress group-wide.
